Also, former Husker quarterback Zac Taylor will have a job under Texas A&M under Coach Mike Sherman, possibly as a graduate assistant. Taylor is engaged to Sherman's daughter, a wedding planned for April.

"Nothing's official. I don't know what I'll be doing, but I'll be doing something down there," Taylor said.

Future father-in-law can't swing a full-time assistant job for ZT

Are we going to pretend that anything good came out of callahan's tenure?  Last I checked...we aren't playing today, tomorrow, or anytime in the next week or last two weeks.

Sorry, new coach = new plans.  Good luck to Zac at A&M, except against us.

It's a GOOD thing to go "somewhere else" to get your graduate degree, by the way.

Sure seems like "staying at Nebraska" or "Nebraska retread" was a negative to some during this last hiring cycle. Maybe it's a good thing Zac went elsewhere to get some experience.  He might want to be Watson's QB coach in a couple years when he moves on.

Last I checked Zac taylor came out of callahan's tenure and last I checked he was a good thing
He learned the playbook fast and developed rapidly....he should teach our future QBs how to do the same thing

Working for his father-in-law?  That's a situation that not many guys would want.  Best of luck Zach.

Jon Osterhout has been retained. Keith Heckendorf is now the OC for Wagner.
