Good deal.  Now we know that Bo Pelini is smarter than Mark Richt.  That sets up nicely for NU's future.

And cheer as the winners go by
Day by day, we get better and better.

Forget the money argument.
A players coach and they love him.  How refreshing will that be in Lincoln.

It's the second time around for Bo at NU and he's figured out how to squeeze two paychecks out of the game... again. Smiley

LMAO. Yah right. Bo coaches for the hell of it and doesn't care about money (that's why he is drawing 2 checks). Lets get real here, in the end it all comes down to money, as well it should. The days of coaching just for the "game" and the "experience" of coaching up the young men are long gone and really a laughable, antiquated and obsolete mindset. In this day and age it all comes down to money and there is nothing wrong with that. Why wouldn't you line your pockets just a little more if the opportunity presents? Why do you think all these coaches sign 3, 5 & 10 ten year extensions on their contracts then jump ship a few month later? Because it is all about the money, period, and power to them if they can get away with it.

It was for Rodriguez. Smiley

Yeah I guess he should have just looked his wife in the eye and said "Honey, I could've gotten some free money, but I told them no thanks".

I would question the thought process of a coach who would turn down free money that was legally offered.

Did you question the thought process of TO when he routinely "turned down" money that was legally offered?

TO never turned down the money, he gave it away to his staff.  The money still crossed hands.

Interesting. I wasn't aware this happened. Can you provide specifics?
