Missouri wins the Cotton Bowl....Kansas wins the Orange Bowl....Both will be ranked in the top 5 at years end...Texas "only" goes to the Holiday Bowl...Oklahoma gets thrashed by a team that lost to Pitt in the Fiesta Bowl...Nebraska doesn't even sniff a bowl...

Going to be a long winter for Husker fans...especially those who live in the Kansas City metro and have to listen to these jerkoffs gloat....*sigh*

It's not just KC metro area my friend, although i might be a little worse (because you are getting it from MizzLoser and KU fans). It's really bad down here as well. Uuuuugggghhhhh!!! Bo needs to thump the crap out of them in Lincoln next year.

Its going to be a longer next couple of years too.  We have alot of cathching up to do.  Kansas and Mizzou are a ways in front of us.  Plus we're kind of starting over.  I hate to say it but the conference will be their's for the next few years.

I'd say it a parity thing but that would start an argument.

I wouldn't, necessarily go that far. Didn't we defeat every Big XII North foe in 2006? The cupboard is not bare, and we finally have a coach who can motivate the players and get the most out of them. I'm not saying we will win every game next year, but I fully expect us to be in the thick of the hunt for the North title.

Of all things that can be said about Calahan it isn't that he left the cupboard bare. We have talent. We just couldn't coach it to a winning form.  Bo will do just that. We will be competetive next year, after that we may be back to old form. BAck to the Good Old Days.

KU and Mizzou aren't going to walk all over us next year.  They're gonna get smacked in the mouth by a D with a chip on its shoulder that wants to prove they are much better than what they showed us this (last) year

I like how you think.

It'll be a tough but exciting season next year, with MU, KU looking VERY good and CU much improved, it looks to be a very long haul in the north race.

Every year, the off-season downtime creates a different mood in me.  I'll be in the pessimistic, or as I like to say, realistic state of mind.

I suspect that NU will go 6-6 next season.  MU and KU are for real. CU looks improved.  If the mighty skers win those games, I'll be pleasantly surprised.   Bo is a first year HC, literally, his staff has a serious task ahead molding a 5-7 team into a winner.

When the season actually starts, I won't concede any games-- game face time baby!

Because... every game is winnable.

I can't wait.

i believe we're competing for the north title next year, if we get to the state of competition needed to win the north, we can win the big 12. okie will be seasoned, but i think we'll be a lot hungrier!!!!

I just wanna see some hitting!

I'm as excited as I was at the beginning of this past year, but I am definitely not getting my hopes up to high.  I think we'll be improved but by how much in less than a year I don't know.
