Blue is going to have to fight for playing time next year. We're becoming stacked at CB.

Wasn't he pretty talented on the offensive side of the ball in HS? And wasn't he at one time in the mix as a return man at NU?

(I'm having as much trouble as Bo remembering much about Blue!)

All I can find from his HS days was that he was almost strictly a defensive player (and that he had to play against Dez Brisco in practice). But I do remember him starting towards the latter end of 2007 and it looked like he had a promising future (granted, I could've played on the 2007 defense and looked impressive). However, from everything I've heard, his knee injury completely crushed his confidence, both mentally and physically.
Willie Amos?  Lot's of talent, hard time recovering from a brutal knee injurie . . .

The battles we go through life
We ask for a chance that's fair
A chance to equal our stride
A chance to do or dare
If we should win, let it be by the code
Faith and Honor held high
If we should lose, we'll stand by the road
And cheer as the winners go by
Day by day, we get better and better.

Maybe Blue can get in the mix at safety.   It's going to be tough getting playing time at CB with Prince, Dennard, Gomes and Green battling for spots there.

It is nice to have depth.  I can remember coaches not having any depth to make kids strive to be better.
