ok, I have a feeling Nebraska is going to get rolled 38-3.  Take it for what it's worth. I'm pretty serious.

I really hope the OP is correct... but I also have a very bad feeling about this game. If we can get any kind of decent offensive production, we really do have a shot. But I haven't seen much over the past few weeks that makes me think we can do anything against this Texas D. If our D is on the field for the whole game (like they have been so much this season) they will eventually wear down. Having Rex and Roy back and healthy will definitely help, but we need to be able to occasionally throw the ball down-field or they will just load the box and tee off on us. If that happens it could get ugly.

Sorry I don't buy that you thought we'd lose to ISU.  We only did because we lost 4 fumbles and 1 INT inside the ISU 5 yardline.  If 1 of those goes our way we win.  No way anyone could've predicted all the turnovers would lead to a loss to ISU.  I believe the rest of your post as some of us on this board have said we'd win the rest of our regular season games.   Wink

Texas has a very good D. I don't have faith that our team will score a TD. The only reason we scored a TD against OU (a comparable D) was because the defense gift wrapped the offense one. That gift was compliments of a freshman QB. Texas won't give us opportunities like this.

The part in blue...No you didn't.  Now, if as clone says, you had posted this BEFORE the Iowa State game...

No one saw Nebraska losing to Iowa State.  Furthermore, no one could even fathom that the Huskers would lose 8 turnovers that day.

That same Freshman played against Texas and lost 16-13.

Then why post that you predicted the outcome after the fact?  I'm betting if you had at the time folks would have called you crazy, however those same folks are big enough to come back and admit they were wrong and you were right.  I btw am predicting NU beats Texas on Saturday.  I know crazy right?  I'm an optimist.  Texas has no clue what's coming Saturday night.  If we get beat or destroyed I'll take my lumps.   Grin
