Wore a brace/sleeve and word is he is going to go this week! Shoulder could pop in/out but he willing to deal with it and the pain that may or may not come with it.

Wow!

I think Cam should sit out this week and make sure he's fully healed heading into the game against Washington.

I mean it's Idaho for cripes sake...it's not like he's desperately needed at this point.

And besides, this is a type of injury that could reoccur at any time and we're going to need Cam much more as the season progresses.

Agree completely.

start him for the first half and let him sit the second half. it's not so much that we need him, but that he is as prepared for UW as possible

Can you imagine asking Grant Wistrom to nurse an injury?  Cameron is of the same ilk.  He'll play.

You don't heal dislocated shoulders.  It takes years for them to tighten back up, and they rarely tighten back to normal.  If he intends to finish his career he'll probably require surgery.  They are very good at fixing this type of injury today.

Good to hear. Mine was a long drawn out affair. Breaking two bones in one leg was a piece of cake compared to the time and pain I went through with my shoulder.

Fortunately Cam is in a good spot for this injury. It's a death knoll for a qb and a real bugger for receivers and even dbacks. That doesn't mean wrapping up won't be a problem......or even swatting the occasional pass. You can live with loose shoulders. Houdini would dislocate both of his at will to get out of straight jackets.....of course he didn't have to bring down a 225 back with break away speed.

I was at the game in 93 when Trev Alberts dislocated his elbow against the sooners.

Well,  the story goes ( sorry no link ) and I heard it from more than one source was after they put a hard cast on it the NCAA/Orange Bowl commitee? said he couldn't wear it for the game and he said " fine, take the ( expletive ) off ,  I'm playin' ".  Ended up wearing some foam rubber outfit.

Cam/Trev/Grant.

WE COULD BE BACK !!!!!

Great news about Cam. BTW, Bo said he did only "individual work" at practice. I'd like to see him skip this next game at least.

Wasn't that injury on Trev a cheap shot by the OU TE?
