Sorry tfree, you are ducking the questin. I asked you what you can do.  Nothing more.  Now I want you to answer the question. You made it sound like you are in a position to do somethign, I only want to know what it is you intend to do.

I can't do anything. I've never claimed I could do anything. I'm not ducking any question. No one here can do anything. Does that make our points less valid?

The facts are that Bo has fixed the defense, while leaving the offense a complete clusterf**k. For the second straight year, Pelini stood by and watched the offense cost us a conference title and bid in a BCS bowl. If he doesn't make some major staff changes on offense, I'm going to be very disappointed with him....a sentiment shared by the vast majority of those here. If Watson is back at OC next season, I'm going to be forced to conclude that Bo just doesn't get it, hence the "Baghdad Bob" reference.

Does the fact that I can't personally make the staff changes that I think are necessary make my criticisms of that staff less valid? Of course not. Yet that's the ridiculous argument you make anytime anyone criticizes this staff.

That is a meretricious argument if I ever heard one.  Your implication was that you could actually affect the outcome and you cannot.

Mods, is this word allowed on this board?  I thought if 95% of posters have to look up a word to understand it ... it would be considered an illegal word. Wink

I think he's just trying too hard to match wits with an attorney by attempting to beat him at his own game/skill set.

Kinda silly watching it - and totally took the entire thread to a place that was a big waste of time, and I personally am dumber for having read it.

No, it's really not. If it is, then any praise of the team, program, coaching staff, players, etc. would be as well, because none of us have the ability to reward them for performing well. Similarly, any criticism of any aspect of the program would be as well, because none of us have the ability to fire anyone or to make changes.

We're all just fans on a discussion board sharing our opinions. If you have an issue with mine, then let's discuss it. But continually insisting that unless I have the power to do something about it, I should just shut up makes you sound like a third grader.

I'm not going to bicker with you. If you have a specific question or want my opinion about something, just ask me. Otherwise I don't see a point to continuing this conversation.

I was listening to Matt Hoskinson on the Shick and Nick show today and he was commenting on Watson.  He said (and I agree with him on this) that if NU heads into next season with Watson (and Watson hasn't gotten it done in the past) and isn't getting it done next year that he doesn't want to hear another person complain about Watson.  He said we need to get on BO.  Bo is the only one who can make the change.  Watson is doing what he can.  And if Bo is insisting on keeping him, then it's not Watson's fault it's BO fault. He did say we need to be patient because it's possible they are waiting toa month or so to make any changes but that come next fall (is what I was interpreting) that if Watson is still the OC, the we better get off Wats and get on BO.

I heard that same segment Suhnami, and also agreed with it completely. For everyone's sake, Bo's included, let's just hope that the necessary changes are made.

Truer words never spoken.  Bo made the aTm game a nitemare, should have started Green for the OU debacle and the same with U W.  Any kind of an offense and we win those games.  Of course, Bo's D giving up 17 unanswered points aginst OU didnt help.
