Here's what I know . . .

1. None of us know for sure what happened. Getting too fired up about something based on speculation isn't prudent, wise or healthy.

2. Bitterness, anger and vengeance can eat you up inside and can sometimes be equal in effectiveness in destroying a life as the event that initiated those feelings.

3. It is best to let anger go and put it in God's hands.

4. I aspire to pray for everybody's soul . . . yeah . . . even Hitler's, and I hope you all will pray for mine. I have enough faults that I can't, in good conscience, be pointing the finger at anybody else.

What of the Rebellion? If the Rebels have obtained a complete technical readout of this station, it is possible, however unlikely, they might find a weakness and exploit it.

Actually we know what Paterno did, as he said as much.  He didn't know where to go with the info after he was told about it.  So he being a 70+ year old at that time, well seasoned adult, did nothing and more boys were hurt by a monster all because Paterno didn't know what else to do?  Even if he 'legally' covered his butt, ethically and morally he's guilty as sin.

It's horrible he died.  I'd never wish death upon anyone and I feel for the Paterno family, but that doesn't absolve my feelings for the fact he allowed this crap to go on.

God will judge the worthiness of his soul; that is His province alone.

We are free to judge his actions, or lack thereof, and the attendant culpability in the abuse of young boys for over a decade after he'd first heard of it.

God DOES allow earthly judgement of one's actions by their fellow men, and Paterno is not above that judgement.

And God still loves Hitler, though he'll remain in Hell for all Eternity.
