That was disappointing. Losing at home to an unranked K-State team to end the season? It seems like there are a handful of players who are mentally tough, but that the team as a whole isn't...and that they really wilt under pressure. That seems as well to be a recurring theme the last few years.

I didn't see it, so I can't agree or disagree to the "choke" charge.  I do know they came through in a bunch of contests this season when they weren't expected to.  K State must have played a heck of a game.  Congrats to them.  But it is very disappointing.  I was looking forward to seeing some Volleyball later in the playoffs.  I won't be watching now, though.

They were highly rated and lost a game they should have won to an unranked K-State team at home, playing with what's likely the best home court advantage in the game.

The team is young, so hopefully mental toughness is something they can work on. They seemed to crumple down the stretch.

This was the ultimate choke.  NU volleyball didn't play well the past 5 or so games down the stretch this year.  They lost in the 1st round to last place Northwestern in straight set of the Big 10 tourney.  So no surprise they choked this one away against KSU.   Sad

well there was no big ten tourney.  they lost to northwestern the last game of regular season.  they already had the big ten title wrapped up.  but you are right, they didn't play very well down the stretch.  and certainly choked hard on KSU.

And to K-State of all teams.  Could only be worse if it were to Texas...
