Gomes wasn't trying to hurt him.  This is football.  Injuries are going to happen.  Too bad for AP.  He's a hell of a RB.

Agreed...I was a little disturbed that they kept calling it a vicious hit, which almost implies it was dirty. In reality it was a great tackle and Peterson's leg was just planted so his leg couldn't take it.

I know he wasnt trying to hurt him. The point was just that two former huskers were involved in both of those cases in one game.

I know he wasnt trying to hurt him. The point was just that two former huskers were involved in both of those cases in one game.

Well when you have 2 of them on defense and 2 on offense for the same team it's plausible that it could happen.  Same thing with Detroit.  Suh and Vanden Bosch.
