TMart said this after the game: "If we don't win a national championship next year, I'm going to be very disappointed."

Thoughts?

I like his positive thinking and confidence.  Would you rather he say "I'm hoping we win 9 or 10 games next year?"  Nothing funny about it really.

he can set his goals high. that's fine. i don't think he was a big problem today. in fact, i thought it was one of the better games he played. would've looked good on paper if it weren't for those snaps at the end where SC got to send their ends with no regard.

I think he is completely delusional. You can't watch this team and think it is anywhere near that level.

I like the fact that he said that, at least these players believe in what they are doing and have lofty goals.  Sadly, I'm not sure winning the Legends division is even attainable.  Losing our only two playmakers on defense is pretty much going to bury us on defense.  On offense.....well lol

What does he possibly see that he thinks that's an attainable goal?!?  Other than Rex, I don't feel too good about our 2012 starting line up.  We're going to be young several places, no David and Dennard (and no likely candidates to fill their shoes)...I'll be happy to win 9 next year.

Post game speak.  Don't love the guy, don't hate the guy = Martinez will never QB a Nat'l Championship team.

Taylor's not the only one holding this team back from a championship. I know it's easy to point the finger at him, but still. Everyone's not doing their part.

Pelini has completely hitched his wagon to Martinez.  I don't mind Taylor as long as we use him right.  I thought he had a heck of a game today.  He made a bad decision or two, but outside of that he played pretty well.  You aren't going to win a national title with him though.

It's kind of sad that one of the changes that will have to happen before that happens is a change at the QB position. Those Pac-12 coaches that didn't even recruit him at QB may have seen this coming.

Starting off finishing 2nd place in our own division would be progress. Let's not even dream of winning the division and losing in the B1G title game. That's out of reach.

How do you not get better after 20 + weeks of practice?
