The reason it's funny is... he's really bad at the position he plays. I'm not saying it's the wrong attitude to have, but him saying THAT just makes him look foolish... well MORE foolish I should say.

So Taylor is really bad?  Please explain the metrics used to determine that.

Well, he isn't a very good decision maker. This is shown by his 13-8 TD:INT ratio, which is relatively low compared to other college QBs. And if I had to guess, his standing would be even lower if you measure him against other AQ QBs and even lower if you measured him against AQ QBs whose teams could arguably be national championship caliber. Now, I'm not saying Nebraska was National Championship caliber this year- far from it, actually- but Nebraska views itself as being at that level, and judging by TMart's comments, he views the team as at least within shouting distance of that level, so I think it is fair to measure him on that scale. When you do that, TMart comes out low. In my view, if your best option at QB is someone of TMart's caliber, then your chances at a national championship are low to nonexistent. I think Nebraska's record over the last several years supports me.

Did you know that Michigan's Dennard Robinson had 18 TDs and 14 INTs this season?  And look how they did this season.

I understand that Taylor isn't the best QB out there.  I also get it that he's not going to wow you, me or anyone else with his throwing motion, reading coverages, footwork and/or zipping the ball into tight windows.  And since we can't sign a free agent or trade up for another, we have to dance with who we have.  Moaning about how terrible he is really doesn't accomplish anything.

What that's said on a fan message board will accomplish anything?
