Huskers Final Rankings:

AP = 24
BCS = 20
Coaches = 24

I am little surprised...but we did beat 6 bowl eligible teams and had a 26th ranked SOS.

24 seems about right.  I'm sort of surprised to see us in the top 25, but I do think we are one of the top 25 teams.  I just didn't think they would end up ranking us.

We're ranked where we should be... may be a little too high.

That's the respect we have generated the past few years.  I think we are a Top 25 football team.

Our history under Bo:

2008 - unranked
2009 - 14th
2010 - 19th
2011 - 24th

We need to do better.

True, but how many teams can claim three straight years in the top25?

True we do, but under BC we were out of the Top 25 more than we were in it.   Sad  So I'll take a Top 25 finish.  However we need to improve and be consistently in the Top 15 or higher.

I just looked at the AP polls but there are 8 total:
Alabama
Boise
TCU
Virginia Tech
Oregon
Nebraska
Wisconsin
LSU

We almost agree.  I think our benchmark should be top 10 finishes.

I agree, but that's tough to do so I added the 'higher' part.   Wink  Heck I want Top 5 finishes every year!  Grin

How important is it to win the last game.  I thought the team had better focus this year and then they took the boys to Disney World!   Wink

It's always nice to win your bowl game and take a positive note into the off season.  However losing like we did can also mean a renewed attitude and can pay bigger dividends.  Smiley
