Red Said Ted piqued my interest in the development of this young man in another thread. I've also heard some good things second (or maybe third Wink) hand. Any additional information on the progress of this athlete would be greatly appreciated.

Actually I'll take any info on the LB's....both inside and out.

What was said in the other thread.  I'm very interested in his development.  I hope we see a lot of fresh blood in LB play next year.  Whaley didn't look bad at the end of the year, but I think Santos and Z Anderson could be studs for us.  Rose looked really good in the UA game.  I just hope if we use Rose next year we don't burn his shirt for him to play 5 plays and special teams.

Thanks Valiant.

H-Town.....it is the thread 2012 and here is the quote by Red Ted....

"Zaire Anderson is a four-star, highly touted JUCO LB coming to NU just like Lavonte David did two seasons ago.  He will join Compton and Whaley in the LB corps.

Mohammed Seisay is a four-star, highly touted CB coming to NU and will most likely start in year one.  He is much in the mold of Zach Bowman.  He will join Green, SJB, and Evans at DB.  Charles Jackson should arrive in May (#2 CB prospect in the nation in 2011).  He needs to get grades/test scores in order but the expectation is that he'll join the team in May of 2012. If so, he'll also challenge for playing time right away.

Additionally, we have David Santos, four-star LB who will be a redshirt freshman next season.  He could very well end up a starter and could have played this season if he was needed.  He is a great talent.  Incoming freshman at the LB spot are Jared Afalava (4-star), Michael Rose (4-star), and Thomas Brown (3-star).  I've also got high hopes for a walk-on LB from Alabama, Derek Slaughter.  I think this kid could end up a beast at LB.

I didn't include Max Pirman with the LBs, not because he isn't really talented.  He is.  But I expect (or hope) he gets moved to DE.  This kid is a 6-5/220lb defender with speed.  Put 20 pounds are Pirman and put him at DE, at least in passing situations.  We need some speed off the edge!  There is some possibility he could play TE too.  I'll be anxiously watching this development.

Bottom line, there's a lot of new talented defenders making their way up the depth chart in 2012.  I think we'll end up better on defense in 2012 than we were in 2011, significantly so."
