this is one we gotta win at home. Diaz going through warm ups. Can't tell if he's too ginger. Can't tell if he's taped up with his socks. I'm sure he is. Looks good to go to me.

Up by 12 at half. Defense has forced bad shots and we are playing a decent game on offense. We need Diaz on the floor! He opens it up for everyone else. Very skilled passer for his body.

Boy, it's nice to have that 2-ton gorilla off our back! The rest of the schedule is still daunting but I don't think the cellar is a given. Out of our final 10 games, I think at least 8 are toss-ups.

I'm just glad to get off the schneid. I'll worry about the rest of the schedule tomorrow.

It was great to see a win! Some things still baffle me though. The major one: after 5 years, Richardson still makes dumb ball handling mistakes! He is a fifth year senior and I cringe every time the other team shows full court pressure. Why don't people do that to us all game, every game?

Just glad we won as we most likely will lose the next 3 games.

I tossed-up watching 4 of our first 5. I'd say 8 of our next 10 is pretty spot on.

The part that sucks is this team has lost a lot of close games....Orgeon, Wake Forest, Illinois. We could lose the mjority of the "toss ups" if we can't learn to finish games.

Outside of Penn State, I think our press break has been pretty strong this year for the most part. I've only seen Penn State play a couple of games this year, but one thing I noticed is that they pressed WAY different than they typically do. I think you can chalk this thing up to Chambers switching things up to confuse us.
I think you will see teams press us here or there in order to change the pace, but nothing outside of that. You really don't want to get out an press Doc's deliberately methodical offense. If you really want to disrupt Doc's offense, play extended 1/2 court pressure....start jumping in the passing lanes of our time-line 3-man-weave.
