Since the “N” logo was added to the helmets, we have seen the American Flag, Bowl Decal, “Blackshirts,”  NCAA logos, conference affiliations and a company logo on the helmets that were sanctioned by the AD.
There have been 2 exceptions that have been sanctioned or approved,

What are they?

Not sure I understand the question since both sentences say "were sanctioned by"

Perhaps one you are referring to is the N-U logo?

The Flag become official after 9-11,  I was at the 97 Kick game and just looked at couple of snapshots and there is not a Bob D sticker on the helmtes. 

What would any want to offer for a program signed by TO and Larry Smith?
