winnable one. salvaging the season starts now. can still get a respectable record if you start winning this last stretch. always tough to win on the road.

Agree.  I'd feel really good if this game were at home.  On the road...who knows.  It's winnable though.

I agree, Iowa is a bad team at times but so are we.  Iowa has gotten a lot better since they played Creighton though.

We really need to stop turning the ball over.  I mean, a lot of these turnovers aren't even forced, it's just us being stupid.  Clean that up, punch it inside to Diaz a ton.

Iowa seems to be able to score at will, really. Don't know how we are keeping it close. Have we not once taught boxing out this season?

Yes! Big win IMO. Hope Gessell has a thick skin. He will get some razzing in school tomorrow.

Always good to know that maybe there are other basketball teams in the Big Ten that suck even more than we do.    Wink

Do any of you BB all guys think a win like this might sway Gesell to us?  Or has he already signed for Iowa?

Nice win.  I'm surprised at how pleased I am to have beaten Iowa in this game.  Maybe there really will be something to the whole border rivalry...  Smiley

I laughed my ass off when the Iowa kid dunked, NBA Jam style on Diaz. I also laughed after they were celebrating, even though Richardson and Talley were draining 3s left and right on them. Good win.

i believe he already signed. even if he hasn't, i doubt it'd change his mind. i think recruits understand the team they sign with isn't going to go 30-2 or something. it's probably much more about relationships with mccaffrey, the current players and how they feel about the school.

MG is gone.  I hate it, but he is.  I think it is the relationship with Fran being the main reason.  I also think Doc recruited him more as a combo guard rather than strictly a point, which is what I'm told Fran wanted him as.  If that's the case, he better hope Marble will slide over.

Good to beat Iowa.  Real good.   Smiley

We all know, Doc cannot recruit, been proven over and over. My only question is, When will it end?

Why bring it up in this thread? This is about the Nebraska-Iowa game.
