Any hints yet as to which team will be our opponent  for Sept. 22nd?

What of the Rebellion? If the Rebels have obtained a complete technical readout of this station, it is possible, however unlikely, they might find a weakness and exploit it.

The issue is, does OU and NU have an open spot in 2013?  Because you know that if OU play NU in 2012 there has to be another game in 2013 because whoever the road team is will want a home game next season.

At this late date, it's going to be some scrub team.  That's probably what is needed by the team, although we as fans hate it.  Our schedule is a beast in 2012.

If we should lose, we'll stand by the road
And cheer as the winners go by
Day by day, we get better and better.

I'd hate it if the Huskers were still in the Big 12 because then a game against a FCS, or low level FBS, team would undoubtedly be a PPV.  However, being in the Big 10--regardless of how "scrub" the opponent is the BTN will televise it.  Membership has its privileges.
