I was at the airport today picking up a friend and had on a Husker pullover.
I was waiting in the bar for the plane, as it was delayed when a couple came up to me and congratulated me on our new coach.
It turns out they both went  to Cardinal Mooney H. S. and knew Bo and all off the C-M alumnus that are on the staff.
They said the many at C-M think Bo will be or has the potential to be better than Bob Stoops as a HC.
The kept using the word “passion” to describe him.
Here is what impressed me was that they said for several years Bo has been looking for a home to raise his family that they were comfortable with and by all accounts they have found it.
They were from Columbus and on there way back from the NC game.  I asked them who they rooted for and they claimed to have for OSU but they said inside they were rooting for Bo.
I welcomed them to Husker Nation gave him my cap and told him that
“Some Time, Some Place, Something inside of you is going to want to say GO BIG RED’
She smiled and said it already had.
They said many are now referring to NU as Cardinal Mooney West with all the former alums on staff.
Beck is a winner also I was told.
The real winner I was told was Mary Pat and from how they described her she could be a daughter of TO and Nancy.
Interesting perspective I was given about Bo and well worth the 12 bucks for the beer.
As I was leaving they asked me to keep Bo and Carl’s father in my prayer.
The would not say what was going on but just that he needed to be included.

Thanks for sharing that Joe.

It's not going to take as long as some think to turn this thing around with Bo at the helm.

Good post, Joe, but somehow I just can't envision TO and Nancy's daughter wearing FUSP gloves.

According to research cited in "The Sociopath Next Door," one in every 25 people is a sociopath.  This means they have no conscience and no ability whatsoever to feel shame, guilt or remorse.  They can literally do anything at all without feeling guilty.  You undoubtedly know at least one.

I can. Nancy looks like she could throw down if the need arose. Didn't she have a few choice words to say to the Nebraska State Journal when people wanted to run TO out those many years ago?

You might be right.  She did say she would get a gun and shoot Tom if he tried to get back into coaching.
