it has been nice taking time off the big husker board and getting away from the "garbage time" and other ridiculous debates there to have our little C's n Lakers fun here ... i got to have objective and fair banter with something i'm passionate about ... too bad we can't stretch it out longer till august so all the offseason crap is over on the main board and that's actually about football again (in the present tense) and not talking about "garbage points", "costs of housses" and other dumb stuff ...

thanks lakers fans you have made this a REALLY REALLY FUN TIME and i really hope we can do it again next year WITH BYNUM and with the mystery player danny ainge will surely sign

Yeah, it's been fun not dealing with the drivel of changing the Tunnel Walk or the uni's or whatever other mundane topic can be discussed.   It has made the summer months a little slower.

It'll be an interesting off season for both teams, the Celtics will more than likely have key veterans like PJ, who was already retired once, more than likely retire again, what to do with Sam, finding a legit back up PG for Rondo, interesting things for Ainge.  For the Lakers, do they keep Lamar and move him to the glut position of 3 (Luke, Ariza, Radmanovich, LO), where he isn't as effective, move him to the bench to back up Gasol.  They need to clear out some of their threes and find a pinpoint shooter to loosen up the lane a bit.  A tough guy would be nice to go bang inside with some of the more physical teams, we'll see if Bynum can stay healthy and can bang.  Interesting things to come this summer still.

no kidding ... i went over yesterday to see what was reading .... still the little petty slams by certain posters ... a gem i'll include "if we don't play well on D this year, then we never did recruit well the last four years" .... how petty ... i'm too tired to respond to such crap anymore ... and it is mentally disabled personed commentary that gets old ... obviously we recruited well ... Bo recruits a 2 star and without a down of ball, he's great ,.... yeah ...

can you imagine the C's and lakers fans lamenting the past constantly and back-biting each other for past failures like this?  that's why they have half the championships in the NBA history ... i have enjoyed jawing with laker fans more than i have with "husker-fans/callahan-haters" on the main board ... that says a lot ....

i have enjoyed this month immensely for this forum .... i'll lay low a month and hold my tongue, then wait for august .... that'll rock!!!!!!!
