Last year I was concerned. This year they are beating out Dilliard, Lawerence, Washington (QB) and three of the 4 RFR. They must be better. That is hte only conclusion you can come to.

Well, Lawrence is out with the concussions - I expect he'll be starting against FIU, your point remains . . .

I don't know about that. If I were Blake, I'd seriously think about my future at this point.

From what I have seen from Lawrence he is coming into his own lately.  Good instincts but maybe not the most physical of players.  Since this last class is about to arrive, maybe not the fastest either.  It is good to have him around however.  Like those comfortable old shoes that maybe don't look so great but feels good to wear.  It brings a smile to your face to know he's there if you need him.  There is a good chance that someone will overtake him with or without the injury.  The Pelini's want more speed.  When the season arrives he makes a great platoon player.  Reliable and savvy, but he doesn't have to take all the punishment either as an every down player.  Fisher gets his chance and may never look back.  May appears to be Ecks BFF lately.  Whaley has had a good spring and then there are the walkons of Koehler and Holt.  Then the real speed comes in this summer in Williams and Martin.  If and when he gets his head tightened, it good that he's there.  They have some good technology these days to gage his wiring.  He'll make a good platoon guy and mentor.
