Any word on the extent of the injuries to Ricky, P.J. and McNeil?  Good that there's some extra time before K-State.  Someone said on another site that they're glad they didn't spend any $$ on this game (PPV).  I did and I'm glad as it was a tough game (yet good to watch) ... and a good measuring rod for B12 play ... not saying the "huskers" were world beaters though.

We will beat K-State!

Ricky is fine, McNeil is fine. They went to commercial when PJ got injured and when they came back didn't mention him again (a testament to fox's amazing game coverage). I'm assuming it was nothing serious though since they didn't mention him again.

Eric Martin also got hurt. In the press conference Bo said he hadn't heard how Martin was yet.

Can't afford any of these guys to be out of the lineup.  LB especially (not much depth)  LaVonte was a "superman" this evening!

If Martin is out, we will have lost all three of our linebackers who had some size.  How will we stop a physical running game?

According to research cited in "The Sociopath Next Door," one in every 25 people is a sociopath.  This means they have no conscience and no ability whatsoever to feel shame, guilt or remorse.  They can literally do anything at all without feeling guilty.  You undoubtedly know at least one.

Reading between the lines, I think LaVante made some terrific plays out of sheer athleticism, while simultaneously being out of position way too often.  He's going to be amazing if/when he learns the offense.

Earlier comment about loss of all size and experience at linebacker raises legitimate concerns.  K-state may be our toughest test of the year on D.

Good thing there is a by week to work on deficient aspects and for player to heal up. I like NU coming into the next game with time to regroup.
