That is a great hit. Hits him high but not on the helmet, doesn't lower his helmet. Doesn't celebrate like he won the Super Bowl. I don't get the fine.

Roger Goddell...that explains the fine.

About Zac Lee's broken left thumb.
A reporter asked Lee whether he could play if he was left-handed. Lee’s answer: “I don’t know. I’ve never been left-handed.”

Yep, I thought it was a good play too.  I didn't think his other hit that they mentioned on that video was illegal, either, IIRC.

Do they sell these blinders y'all are wearing at the bookstore?

Helmet lowered. Helmet-on-helmet contact. Defenseless target. Fine.

He turned the crown of his helmet away from the returner.  He hit him after he caught the ball.  These rule changes are lame.

I agree with you, modern day football, sadly that's a fine, and penalty.  I miss the good old days when that was just a great play.

Hate to say it but the side if Niles' helmet to that guys face mask still counts as helmet to helmet. If you watch the video he even lowered his head. Embarrassed

Yeah, I have to retract my earlier statement. Pretty clearly helmet to helmet upon further review .. .

Just another example of the continued feminization of the NFL.
