At least the broadcasters figured out how to pronounce Roy's last name.  It got pretty ridiculous during his college career hearing college football television announcers hammering his name.  You'd think the money these guys are making they would at least do a little homework.

Good job out of these guys!

Not to mention a very athletic play by Roy!

Burkhead had a nice "Superman" leap of his own vs Iowa, maybe Helu was watching and got inspired:

*yes I know that Helu was doing this before Burkhead even got to Nebraska!

Helu makes most of opportunities with Redskins

Quote
The fourth-round draft pick from Nebraska found yards when there appeared to be none, and his acrobatic 28-yard touchdown run ignited the fourth-quarter rally. Shanahan called the play “the difference in the game.”

“You can see he got some tough yards,” Shanahan said. “He broke some tackles. He made some people miss. You could some elusiveness, power, some speed. That’s what you look for in a running back. He played with a lot of confidence. He knew he was going to be the guy. We told him he was going to have the workload, and he really took advantage of his opportunity.”

This is why the NFL draft absolutely befuddles me...

I always thought that Helu's size 6'0" 220 and speed, legit 4.4 were 1st round caliber.  Instead, he goes in the 4th...

Maybe the fact he couldn't seem to stay healthy while at NU?

I thought the injury thing was overplayed. My concern was his ability between the tackles. You have to break tackles to have success in the NFL. Maybe RH is running harder now that it is do or die.

Waiting for the announcement of NU's hockey team.
