Slauson makes interesting comments about Suh

I know this link was posted in the "Suh booted" thread but there was really no comments due to the fact that I don't think the content was highlighted properly. Please read and discuss:
Jets' Slauson says former college teammate Suh 'out of control'
Quote
Suh wasn't considered a head case by NFL scouts after a celebrated career at Nebraska that didn't include any on-field incidents, but Slauson said Suh was a different player in practice while in college.
Slauson said there were at least two ugly incidents involving Suh and other players during practice at Nebraska that Slauson witnessed but that went unreported.
Slauson said "I prefer not to say" when asked if those two practice incidents involved Suh stomping on teammates' limbs or similar cheap shots.
But as a result of those acts and Suh's generally unpredictable temper, Slauson said Suh wasn't popular at all with his college teammates.
"He was well-respected for his ability, but everybody kind of knew who he was," Slauson said. "He wasn't well-liked."
The subsequent problems in the NFL haven't made Suh any more popular within the Nebraska football program, Slauson said.
"There's a lot of people in Nebraska that aren't very pleased right now," Slauson said. "The University of Nebraska has always prided itself on producing high-character guys, and [he isn't one of them]."

Firstly, I will say that this last incident was the first that I would classify as dirty or thuggish behavior. I did not see this incident live, I was on the road. But my son informed me the the GB player had done something prior to this, like slam Suh's head into the ground. So, I don't necessarily have a problem with Suh retaliating a bit by shoving the GB players helmet... but it should have ended there. The arm stomp was the action that crossed the line. IMHO he would also have been better served by just admitting he lost control of his temper after the incident.
As far as Slauson slinging mud... yeah whatever. IIRC Slauson was a bit of a hot head and speculation at the time of the incidents he mentions was that he may have even been the instigator. So, I really don't buy into anything he has to say regarding Suh.

I personally take what Slauson said "with a grain of salt." As I said in the other thread regarding this incident, if there were any truth to Slauson's assertions, someone in the Lincoln/Omaha would have picked up on it and it would have been a front page story at some point during Suh's four years in Lincoln. There are always those in the media who love a negative story and one of them assuredly would have pounced on this and had a "field day" with it.

Pot meet kettle.
Slauson has just proved what many have thought about him for a while now. He is a punk! I wouldn't expect to see him at any Husker reunions anytime soon. His name is pretty much dirt with most former Huskers right now!
Anyways, really, stuff happened in practice? OMG! I cannot believe it!
Almost every practice of any football team, high school, college, pro, doesn't matter. Stuff happens and is part of the game. What Suh did was wrong but he didn't do it unprovoked. i.e. he didn't jam that dudes helmet into the turf and try to stomp him for nothing. He felt the guy tried to injure him and reacted to it. Anyone bother to notice the OL's reaction when he got up? Most players would want to go after a guy that did that to them. But maybe not a guilty guy! Just saying!

So basically what you are saying is that Slauson is in good company in NY with Bill Callahan?
