Iowa friend of mine reports the rumor mill is saying stoops seen in Iowa city today.  No way to authenticate just passing it along.

Did he specify which one?

I didn't think he had to. Iowa d-coordinator retiring mike stoops available and he and I have been bantering about who is going to get him.

I hope it's Ron Stoops, Jr. - assistant coach at Youngstown State.

Will be surprised if he doesn't end up at A&M. Sumlin and he are tight and of his options they probably have the biggest pocketbook. He is playing everyone and $$$ will be the deciding factor.

How does A&M have the biggest pocket book when they have to buy out Sherman and the Big XII-4+2?
