OK, how good are the Big East Officials? Anyone know anything about them? Quality? Consistency? Preferences.....i.e. holding (line and backfield), late hits, high hits etc?

I have seen their crews a couple times this year and pretty mediocre at best.
One of the games I watched,  I know I thought the call was wrong and turned out the Conference Office had to correct both the replay and the Referee and I think it determined the outcome of the game.
DB's had better keep their hands to their selves!

Bo might have better luck talking to the ducks than the refs.

As long as they call the hands at the LOS then it's no problem.  My pet peeve is the SEC style officiating, where they only call holding on the perimeter of the blocking.  It's really neutered the interior pass rushes this past few seasons.  I don't buy the excuse that you can call holding on every play; then do it until the OLs fix their techniques!

Agreed.....unfortunately it's become the norm for more than just the SEC.

Not what I wanted to hear Joe. I love a conference that takes its officiating seriously. When something gets by the crew AND the reviewer and gets all the way to the Conference office.......grrrrr.

Whatever happens at the Cap1, I want it determined by the players and coaches......not the refs.

Thanks for the responses.

We better hope they aren't the ones who gave Syracuse the extra point against Toledo.  The single worst reviewed call in college football history.
