Burleson singles in another, 5-1. These are the types of games I was expecting coming into this conference. Top 4 on the way.

8th inning right now and it's 13-1 Big Red.

Over 5,000 at the ballpark each day this weekend. Very impressed!

Final was 13-3. Live stats gives my computer fits so I wasn't able to follow like I wanted. Good series win and I liked how we dhowed dominance in our two wins.

If you were there, I was the fidgety person in black in the outfield :| I knew it was going to be above-average temps but did not expect summer in March, I was starting to hope they'd just call the game after Christensen's 2 run double (12-1 in the bottom of the 7th or whenever).

That was maybe the best pitching performance of the season so far.  Not perfect but once you're up 5 or 6 runs, whatever.

First win in the TEN and first series win in the Ten. It wasn't perfect but it was good enough to make me happy.

When was the last time we won a conference series b4 this weekend in the past 2 to 3 years?

I heard 2008 was the last time Nebraska won their conference opening series.  Albeit Illinois is not Big 12 caliber, it still beats the alternative.
