First, I don't really care at all about Kansas St., but now that Martin is gone I'm hearing rumors that they are going after Bruce Pearl.  Unfortunately, that would be a great hire for them.

K-State wants to be good in basketball and has an athletic department who thinks outside the box. We will see who they get, Bruce Pearl would be a fantastic hire for them. They might run into a few no thank yous as well, it will ne interesting to see what they do if that happens. Good gig thoigh for sure.

I'm just curious, when Pearl was mentioned as a person for us to consider, the bashing was intense. Why is it a good hire for them and not us? He's also has a show cause penalty that goes through 2014, so anyone who hires him would face sanctions I believe.
