Watching the Channel 6 (WOWT) sports, they can't read Sanguinetti's name.  They've called him Sangetti, and Sanga-nudie Huh Sports journalism in this state is, for the most part, pretty sad Huh

It shouldn't be that hard to pronounce.  Didn't they ever watch Dr. San Guinary back in the day?

The one guy came from Florida so probably not.  Ross Jernstrom, however, has no excuses  Tongue

Pretty damn solid start to the season.  I like what Erstad is doing with the team.

Northwestern is 8-14.  This will be their first home game of the season.

Speaking of their home games, their stadium is 50 years old and was renovated about 30 years ago.  It seats 600.   Huh  It looks like a glorified Little League field.

However, their website notes:

Quote
The Wildcats' attraction to their stadium goes beyond its beauty and utility; the team seems to play better there as well. Since the 1984 rededication, NU has posted a 293-200-2 (.592) record at Rocky Miller.

I like this years squad. I was always told from a close friend in the game that Nu's problem was never a lack of talent. Kudos to Erstad for bringing these guys together and getting the most out of them so far.

No offense, NC.

If Nebraska replaced Northwestern with UNO, their strength of schedule would go up.  That's pretty sad.

Man I don't know if I'd want to play UNO in baseball.   Tongue
