Heat are going to cakewalk to the NBA finals now.  Against who though?  Spurs or Thunder?

I'll say thunder, but either one is fine.  As long as it's not the Lakers! (sorry sho)

Wouldn't say that...the Celtics, with their defense and toughness can give the cHeat a game.  Moving KG to the 5 was a brilliant move by Doc and they've been playing their best basketball as the playoffs approached.  Outside of them, the Bulls played 1/3 of the season without Rose, they'll still be a tough out.

The west is loaded, any of the top 4 teams (add Memphis and Lakers), in my estimate, could win the Finals and I wouldn't be shocked.  As long as none of the 4 lose a key cog.  Spurs, Lakers and Memphis have the interior presence to grind the half court games out, and the Thunder are young, crazy athletic, and really really good.  They don't have the post play, but with KD, Westbrook and Harden they are a beast of a team on the wings.

I am starting to have a harder time watching. These flagrant fouls are out of control and being handed out like candy these days. Whatever happened to a foul just being a foul?

I agree.  And the Lakers have been showing signs of life late in the season.  If their point guard play holds up, they could be the team to beat.  (I don't mind it that others root against the Lakers - when your team is great, it tends to polarize the fans who are not invested in its success.)

I'd still view the Lakers as the third best team in the conference right now, but as you said, the top 4 are so close that any one of them could emerge, and few would be shocked.  I'd say San Antonio or Lakers have the best shot, only because they both have been there so many times that they will not shrink from any moment.

Day 2, another big injury with Caron Butler breaking his hand and stupidity showing up in Boston.  The best part of the day...the 4th quarter by the Clippers.    Shocked

And I'll be remiss if I didn't point out the All-Star Center, Andrew Bynum, who messed around and got a triple double.

Day 3 of the NBA playoffs, and the 4th injury ending a key players playoffs early?  Amare punches the fire extinguisher glass and needs stitches...reports of a fight in the Knicks locker room...not a good thing if you want to beat the cHeat.

this always makes me happy.  It has the extra benefit of the fact that Durant seems like a genuinely likable player.  I'll enjoy the Spurs/Thunder series.

He does seem hard not to like. I'm trying to forget that he played for Texas...

Yea... for that reason, and the fact that I still love Duncan, I'll root for the Spurs.  Duncan is just the epitome of a professional.
